Warszawa, 28.06.2010 (ISB) – The company Arteria has won contracts to provide outsourcing services to the insurer PZU and the telecommunications company Netia. After the second quarter, the Company wants to release its financial forecasts, which are expected to show improvement over last year’s figures, particularly in terms of profits. As Arteria’s President Wojciech Bieńkowski told the ISB news service, Arteria is also in talks with various parties about new acquisitions.
"Our new outsourcing services contracts with PZU and Netia, which are margin contracts for us, help our counter-parties to reduce costs. These are long-term contracts that, on a cumulative basis, will acquire the status of significant contracts. What is more, we have completed our restructuring process, as a result of which our group has a clear structure. This, in turn, allows us to publish forecasts for the entire year 2010," Bieńkowski told ISB.
Mr Bieńkowski’s comments suggest that Arteria expects to post improved results for the year 2010 compared with its 2009 performance, particularly in terms of profits and margins.
"It’s very important to us. Margins are our priority. Our call centre in particular is generating a really high margin and, having made the changes to Rigall and renegotiated the contracts, we’re again making profit on the sale of financial services. In the future this is going to be one of our development priorities; we are also planning to start offering new services, i.e. outsourced bookkeeping services to small- and medium-sized businesses," said Mr Bieńkowski.
Arteria’s President emphasized that in order to raise funds to finance for business activity, they could sell shares in group companies, thereby introducing new business partners commanding strong positions in a particular sector.
"Besides, we’re in negotiations to acquire a company operating in the outsourcing segment; they’re still in early stage, though," President of Arteria explained.
