Parkiet: Contract With Mastercard

The company Arteria, operating in the sales outsourcing field, has signed a cooperation contract with MasterCard which issues payment cards for financial institutions, bearing MasterCard logo.

 

„So far the value of this contract cannot be defined in monetary terms. However, we hope that this would be one of our most important contracts. Potential of this cooperation can be even larger than the services performed by one of our companies for Citibank,” says Wojciech Bieńkowski, CEO of Arteria.

 

The company Rigall Distribution, fully controlled  by Arteria, is the strategic partner of Bank Handlowy – among other services, it sells its credit cards. „Our annual revenues from that cooperation amount currently to about PLN 30 million (in 2010 the consolidated turnover of Arteria amounted to PLN 111 million – editor’s comment). I believe the potential of the new contract would reach several thousand cards sold annually in each of the markets”, claims Mr. Bieńkowski.

 

So far Arteria and Mastercard plan to implement models supporting card sales in three countries: Poland, Romania and Ukraine. Thanks to that partnership, Arteria would gain presence in the foreign markets.
